Hannah wanted to bring her doctor kit to Leah's 4 month appointment today. She checked Leah like this all on her own! So priceless! Do we see a future career here? Or just a big sister with a big heart full of love for her little sister?
Today we went to Leah's 4 month appt...

Today we went to Leah's 4 month appt...Updates on Leah:
- Details: weighs: 12lbs, 12oz (30%); 25 1/4" (75%)
- Feedings: Dr. was happy with amount of oz per feeding and how many feedings per day (4 oz, 4xs a day; 8oz at bedtime) Dr. was concerned about her fussiness during feedings and said that Laryngo Tracheal Malacia doesn't usually have feeding issues but breathing issues. She wants us to try a different formula or if that doesn't work to add rice cereal to the other formula. Currently Leah is still drinking half a bottle of breastmilk with half formula.
- Sleeping: Three predictable naps a day and 12 hours at night (however she always needs to have her paci given to her several times throughout the night so we still don't sleep solid.)
- Etc.: Dr. was happy that Leah is playing with toys and sitting up supported well. She was happy to hear that she's rolled over too. The side of her head isn't flat anymore!!! But she is just a little concerned about the back and asked us to keep her off her back when she's awake as much as possible.
Updates on Hannah:
- Dr. Hanlon saw her eyes and thought that the eye drops weren't necessary anymore as after 7 days they are just now getting more white.
- No fever all day!
- Runny nose is going away too!!
- Temperment: not eating or sleeping well yet; pretty fussy probably from lack of good sleep (last night she slept on the floor in our room)
