Summer Days at the Beach!

We went to the beach both yesterday and this morning. Yesterday was more successful than today but we went today nonetheless. Hannah still is not a fan of the sand but ended up loving the water, on Saturday. At least there was a shallow area where she could throw seashells and rocks in to make big splashes. Next time we'd love you to join us!

A Latte Fun

Today I (Jon) took Hannah to an indoor playground called A Latte Fun. Hannah had a blast as you can tell from the pictures! I had a great time too as I was able to enjoy coffee and sitting around while Hannah burned all her energy. I had only planned on staying an hour but ended up staying almost two and a half hours because Hannah was having so much fun. I would definitely recommend going if you live in the Palm Beach area as it is a great place for both kids and parents and definitely a great way to get out of the Florida sun! The website if you are interested is http://www.alattefun.com/.

24 month checkup

Hannah had her 24 month checkup at the Doctor's yesterday. She was such a good patient and the Dr. said that it was rare to see such a cooperative child. Hannah actually said before the Dr came in that she wanted to see the Doctor. Hannah weighs 30.4 pounds and is in the 80% for weight. She's 35 1/2 inches tall, almost 3 feet! She's in the 90% for height! No shots today as Hannah had her last ones when she was 18 months. She doesn't have to have any more until she's 5! The next time Hannah needs to go to the Dr is at 3 years old! Yeah!

Moving Day!

Today Hannah moved into her new room. We spent the entire day moving everything from the nursery to her new "big girl" room. She even got a brand new bed which she is very excited about. Your prayers are appreciated as we are hoping she adjust to the move and sleeps through the night.

Another girl...

On Tuesday we went in for a sonogram / ultrasound to make sure everything was measuring ok with our baby. We also knew this would be the day we would find out the gender of our baby. Many couples choose to wait until the baby is born because they like the "surprise". Not us, we MUST know the gender and after 30 minutes we got our answer. We found out that we will be having another little girl in November! We are so excited that Hannah will have a little sister and we couldn't be happier to have two girls!

Happy 2nd Birthday Hannah!

HAPPY 2nd BIRTHDAY HANNAH! MOMMY AND DADDY LOVE YOU VERY MUCH!

Today our daughter, Hannah, turned 2 years old! Wow! It's amazing to think that we've been parents for 2 years now. After that thought, it was funny to think that we still make the smallest mistakes!

We had a great birthday weekend. We drove up to Orlando and spent Saturday at SeaWorld and Sunday at Aquatica. Saturday night was Hannah's party with our families. This morning we went to Breakfast with Elmo at SeaWorld! It was great to see Hannah interact with these characters that she's grown to love over the last year.

Thank you to all our family and friends that made today special by sending your love either in person or by phone or in the mail. We couldn't thank each of you enough for all your love and support over the past 2 years!

Hannah's new room!

Over the past few weeks we've been working on clearing out our guest room, priming the walls, adding a fan, painting the walls and making it Hannah's new room. We still have a lot to do such as add shelving in the closet, hang a curtain rod and curtains, buy her bed and bedding, move her dresser over and all the rest of her clothes and toys. So more pictures to come when we get to those points. Hope you all like our creativity. Hannah loves it! All she wants to do is being in her new room. It's so exciting for her!

Hannah really wanted to help so we let her "measure" things on the wall. When we'd ask her how long is that she would say 25. Everything was 25! This was the best pose we could get. She is really into this dress now too. She didn't want to take it off even when the paint was wet!

Gabby came over to see Hannah's new room and loved it too!

The paint work is finished! It was tedious but worth it!
