Leah- amused or bored- you decide...

Leah really does kick this on her on! Mommy didn't do it for her. Good thing my girl is easily amused! It's funny that with Hannah we let her play with mostly baby toys. With Leah we let her play with anything within reach...at least for now.

Leah- 3 months!

Yesterday Leah turned three months old! She has good days and bad days, like all of us, and is getting into a consistent routine which is helpful. Generally she eats around 7:30am and her last feeding is around 7:30pm. She was sleeping better at night until the last couple of days when she's cried several times in the middle of the night.

Leah keeps our prayer life strong, that's for sure!

Gabby's 3rd Birthday!

Hannah's best friend Gabby just turned 3! We went to her HEART themed birthday party! Hannah loved running around with Gabby and decorating the cookie and cupcake even if it was a little messy. Happy Birthday Gabby! We love you!

Hannah was the cleanest one, no surprise there. She was definitely more interested in eating the cookie then decorating it.

Color and Shape of the day!

Mommy has created a gift bag full of fun things for Hannah to do every day during the week when Daddy is at work. Every morning she picks one of the bags that has a coloring book, crayons or markers, stickers, book, puzzle, game, music cd, and a piece of candy! Hannah has loved this idea so far and it helps Mommy schedule Hannah's day around the busyness of Leah's schedule. Leah takes about 3 good naps on a good day. She's eating well and growing a lot too.


Besides the bag Hannah picks one color every day and Mommy picks a shape. We go around the house and point out anything that is the color or shape. Yesterday's color was red and the shape was a circle. It's funny how many circles you can find just in your home without any planning!

Will Leah be a talker?

Leah has started to babble some! It's so cute but hard to catch on video.

Hannah has so much energy that sometimes it just jumps out!

Jon's Birthday and Beyond

January 2009 was a big month for Jon! He turned 30! We celebrated by going to Disney's Hollywood Studios. Here are some pictures from the last couple of weeks.
The Paynes on Worth Avenue in Palm Beach. We were showing our friends around town and took them to the Ritz in Palm Beach and saw their $6,000 a night Presidential Suite! It was so fun to walk through!

We are working on tummy time with Leah almost every awake time. She had really gotten into it and sometimes cries when we pick her up. Then we put her back down and she's happy. Renee's suitemate from college visited for a night and brought her two sons with her. We all went to a park in West Palm Beach and met up with another roommate and her daughter. Above is Noah Johnson, Hannah Payne and Ava Raymond. They are all turning three this year. We just love this picture!
