Our fancy date!!

Jon's school, Rosarian Academy, was having a pre-auction fundraiser for the parents to get together. It was at a Palm Beach Mansion owned by one of the student's parents. The reception was open to faculty and their spouse so of course we had to go! This was the biggest house we've ever been too! We were really impressed just driving up! The reception was a couple of hours but the open bar didn't mean much to us. The passed hors d'oeuvres were great though! But nothing could beat the view! Several hundred feet of private beach! The ocean was beautiful and we got there just about sundown. Our pictures don't show much as after the sun went down it was too dark to take but here are some anyways. Thanks to Julie, Chris and Ava Mantegna we were able to go and have a great time. It was nice to come home and find our 2-year old sound asleep! It worked out great as they put their 5-month old down to sleep in the crib! Two girls asleep! We're ready for that!!

This is the view out their front drive towards the intracoastal.

The view of the ocean and their lawn leading up to it.

A Caribbean band played!

This is the owner's hand! He was coming over to talk to us and thought it was funny to be in the picture!

This week's reward!

Hannah's weekly reward was going to Gym Like This! She loves this place!

This is the famous Ms. Pattie! She teaches the class and takes time with each kid to teach them the balance beam and the bar. After Hannah took a good nap she showed her baby dolls and stuffed animals how to do a flip on a bar (which was the infant car seat bar!) It was pretty cute how she instructed them to hold on and don't let go!

Going to Grandma's and Granddad's

Last weekend we took Hannah to Grandma and Granddad's house for a reward for a good week, aka...staying dry! Hannah was so excited all week as she wanted to go swimming, play on the piano, and of course, see Grandma and Granddad!

We took Hannah to a store that sells playgrounds where you can try them out! She loved it!

This was inside a playground house. Hannah was pretending to sleep until we tried to take a picture of her. Her true emotions are shown here as she was having a great time!

We met Uncle Chris and Aunt Jennie at the mall for dinner on Saturday night. We ate at Picadilly Cafeteria. They had the arcade game that you take the claw and try to get a stuffed animal. Uncle Chris won Hannah the Mickey that she wanted in the 1st try! Talk about giving the girl what she wants!

Hannah enjoyed the simple things too like making bubbles with Granddad.

Uncle Jon came over a couple of times too and loved playing with Hannah. You don't have much of a choice when she asks you so nicely, "Uncle Jon, will you please play with me?" It melted his heart so they built blocks together. Hannah made a bed for Mickey and Uncle Jon made a chair.

We'll try to upload a video too but had some trouble this morning...

Marlins Game last night!

Jon got 3 free tickets and a free parking pass for last night's Marlins baseball game. One of the teachers at his school were given the tickets but couldn't go. We decided to go after being 50/50 about it as it was after a long work day, Renee's pregnant and we weren't sure how Hannah would do sitting still for a game. Luckily the tickets were in the 3rd row so that captured Hannah's interest. The picture below wasn't even zoomed in! These were great seats! We took these on Renee's cell phone as we forgot to bring our camera.

We kept Hannah busy at first with a candy bracelet. She's been wanting it at home for a while so this was the perfect night to try out giving her that much sugar. She did really well after eating all the candy!

Hannah liked how they played music in between plays. She also liked the popcorn we bought her.

Jon was happy too as it was good to get out of the house in the middle of the week and forget about responsibilities for a few hours. We stayed for just over 3 innings because we knew it was getting late. We saw a couple of great plays and almost a grand slam! The score was 6-2 when we left but we found out the Marlin's won 14-2! We missed a lot but still had so much fun.

We got home just before 10pm and Hannah went to bed willingly!

Girls night at the Ritz!

Marlo, Christi, Julie and Renee- having dinner at the Ritz in Palm Beach! We decided to get together and spend the night at the Ritz before Leah comes. We had a great time and if you ask what we did, besides eat and swim, we talked! When you put 4 girls together...that's all we did! It was so much fun! I'm blessed to have such amazing friends.

Practicing her Big Sister role!

Hannah has been practicing being a big sister ! She put a bib on her baby today and feed her a bottle, but the cute thing was she really held her like you would a baby! Then she swaddled her babies and Tiger and lined them up on the stairs. She thought they each needed a blanket. She's very proud of herself and so are we. She has her moments, like we all do, but she says some of the cutest things and does some of the cutest things that just makes our hearts melt. We love you Hannah!

Trip to the Park!

One of Hannah's favorite past times - playing at the park with swings and slides. We talked up going to the park all week if Hannah stayed dry and she did! Thankfully the weather cleared up today as it rained all day due to TS Hanna passing by.
